Are you compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting young people? We're looking for a Waking Night Care Worker - Children and Young People to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive! You will play a crucial role in supporting the children's needs overnight, ensuring their safety, well-being, and security in line with our policies and procedures. You will also assist in providing general care and support, while maintaining a secure and supportive environment. What you'll be doing:

  • Stay awake during night shifts, providing constant supervision of the home.
  • Help build their confidence, independence, and life skills
  • Work closely with a team to provide emotional and practical support
  • Regularly check the security of the building and alert senior staff if any security issues arise.
  • Ensure all children are accounted for and report any missing children to senior staff.
  • Assist with bedtime routines, helping children settle in for the night.
  • Help the children wake up and get ready in the morning.
  • Ensure every child feels valued and heard
