Full Job Description

Previous experience in a similar, fast-paced establishment, catering for 80 to 100 covers during each service

- Will have a good general knowledge of Italian cuisine

- A good knowledge of the different grape varieties and wine styles, spirits and classic cocktails

- Being able to recommend dishes based on the information provided by the guest

- Able to serve and clear a table up to 4 people

- Have experience and a good awareness of opportunities to improving sales and an ability to anticipate guest needs

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Motivation, commitment, success orientated with a 'can do' attitude

- Knowledge & diversity from previous roles to the team

- Enthusiasm, drive & desire to learn

- Knowledge of Point of Sale software TISSL/Horizon would be beneficial

- WSET certification or equivalent would be beneficial

Franco's first opened in 1946, is considered one of the first Italian restaurants in London which focuses on traditional and contemporary Italian Cuisine. Located on Jermyn Street between Green Park and Piccadilly, Franco's is a family-owned restaurant with a sister venue: Wiltons also on Jermyn Street. Both are managed by Director Jason Phillips who has worked at the Savoy, the Avenue and C London., It is believed that Franco's was one of the first Italian restaurants in London. Located at the St James's end of Jermyn Street, Franco's is surrounded by the lifestyle boutiques, private clubs, art galleries and hotels of the area.

Offering approx 15.20 to 16.20 per hour plus yearly bonus

- Approx. 40 hours a week Monday to Saturday with 2 days off per week - flexible shifts

- The restaurant is closed on Sundays, 10 days over Christmas, 4 days over the Easter weekend and Bank holidays
