Volunteering

Carrying out maintenance related tasks, including: sweeping and tidying, assisting maintenance team with tasks, painting and decorating, changing lightbulbs, basic plumbing including changing washers

• Experience of basic maintenance tasks related to the upkeep of a building
• Good attention to detail
• Good listening and communication skills
• Have access to transport and be willing to travel to selected shops around the north of Bristol

  At St Peter's, we believe that as much of the money we raise as possible should go directly to supporting the patients and families in our care. That's why, as a general policy, we ask volunteers to cover their own expenses. However, we do make exceptions where not covering expenses would prevent someone from volunteering. While this opportunity is open to all existing and prospective volunteers, it's important to know that it does require a particular set of skills.
