Could you help shape the future of Mediation Hertfordshire?
We're looking for our next Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Mediation Hertfordshire helps people resolve conflict through mediation in the community, in the workplace and in the family which is free at the point of contact.
We have an important role to play across Hertfordshire and we believe we could do even more.
We're looking for a visionary, commercially aware and collaborative Chair who will strengthen our Board, help us to continue with the achievements under our current Chair, which included digitisation of the processes and our journey towards becoming a Registered Charity. Other very successful projects included training of 13 volunteer mediators to become fully accredited Peer Mediators in schools.
Our Chair should be someone who can challenge our thinking, sees opportunities and asks how we make them happen and who can build relationships, open doors and help us make Mediation Hertfordshire more visible and sustainable. You'll bring strategic thinking, sound judgement, an understanding of good governance and the ability to get the best from the people around you.
You don't need to be a mediator, but you do need to understand the value of community mediation and believe in what we are here to achieve.
If you're looking for an opportunity to use your experience, ideas and influence to help shape an organisation with an important social purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
