Were looking for a Volunteer Services Officer to coordinate a new volunteer service at St Jamess Hospital and across Leeds Teaching Hospitals, working with Marie Curie and the palliative care team to support service delivery and volunteering., This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a new Volunteer Companion Service across Leeds Teaching Hospitals, recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to provide compassionate emotional and practical support to patients, families and carers at the end of life

Marie Curie is partnering with Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust to launch a new End of Life Care SUPPORT volunteer service, helping provide compassionate support to dying patients and those close to them across Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
