Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Volunteer Safeguarding Adviser who can help us develop robust, trauma-informed safeguarding arrangements from the very beginning.
The volunteer will help advise on safeguarding policies and procedures, safer recruitment, reporting and escalation processes, safeguarding responsibilities, risk management and good practice for working with adults and children who may be vulnerable.
We particularly welcome applicants with professional experience in safeguarding, social care, health, policing, education, domestic abuse, sexual violence, child protection or the voluntary sector.
This is currently an advisory volunteer role. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to be considered as a Prospective Founding Trustee, subject to discussion, appropriate checks and the normal trustee appointment process.
