Full Job Description
The 20th Sheffield Scout Group is seeking a volunteer Independent Examiner to conduct the annual examination of our accounts.
We are one of the largest Scout Groups in Sheffield, running receipts and payments accounts with an annual turnover of approximately £233,000. All financial data is well-maintained and accessible via Xero and Google Sheets.
We require a suitably qualified volunteer urgently to undertake the examination for our 2025/26 financial year (1st September - 31st August), with our AGM typically held in November.
If you are a qualified accountant looking to support a thriving local charity and make a meaningful impact in youth development, we would love to hear from you.
We would also like the examiner to be available to provide adhoc advice to the group teasurer on an occasional basis.
