Full Job Description

Do you want to play a key role in supporting, growing and diversifying the circa. 70,000 volunteers who help deliver cricket throughout the year and support over 5,000 community clubs and 400 leagues across England and Wales?
The purpose of this role is to support on the delivery of the game-wide Volunteer Action Plan and the development of our network of volunteers, recreational clubs and leagues through the delivery of scalable initiatives, resources and education. You will have operational responsibility for the delivery of key national events including Get Set Weekend and Cricket Collective Awards, coordinate the ongoing development of our club, league and volunteer Learning Hub and communication channels, and support the delivery of national volunteering initiatives, including for young volunteers, all while helping to fulfil our ambition to become the most inclusive team sport.

YOU'LL BE DOING
Oversee the operational delivery of national events aimed at supporting clubs and volunteers e.g. Get Set Weekend, Close of Play Weekends, and The Cricket Collective Awards.
Support the delivery of key Cricket Collective programmes and events, including the Young Cricket Collective and Cricket Collective Coordinator programmes.
Coordinate communication with the club, league and volunteer network, including editing and curating the monthly Cricket Collective Bulletin, building a strong voice for the Recreational Game.
Assist in the implementation of our League Engagement Strategy and Club Development Framework through the creation of educational materials, good practice and case studies, and ensure appropriate resources are available on the Cricket Collective Learning Hub in line with ECB Club and Volunteer strategies.
Work collaboratively across ECB and the county cricket network to embed volunteer, club and league development into programmes and services, ensuring effective integration and alignment.

A can-do attitude and a contagious passion for cricket or recreational sport and a strong desire to add real value to recreational clubs, leagues and volunteers.
Project management experience, following timelines and budgets, and managing multiple stakeholders.
Expertise to mobilise training, programmes and initiatives that provide value and benefit for clubs, leagues and volunteers.
The ability to understand, analyse and interpret data and insight.
Adaptable nature with strong organisational skills to ensure you can work on multiple projects and deliver required outcomes.
Confident at building and designing impactful presentations and information decks.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand and act on information accordingly.
