Full Job Description

We are seeking a Volunteer Driver to support patients to attend the FAB group held at Badsley Moor Lane. This will involved collecting patients from their home address and transport to Badsley Moor Lane, then escort to the group. The FAB group is a falls prevention exercise group for older adults who are unable to access mainstream exercise groups due to their mental health. Patients attending the FAB group have a diagnosis of dementia or other mental health condition. This role is working alongside the Mental Health Physiotherapy Community Team. There will be opportunity to support with the running of the group if this is of interest.,

  • Transport patients from their home to the group and return home.
  • To be able to communicate clearly and compassionately.
  • Offer reassurance and conversation during the journey.
  • To raise any concerns or issues with supervisor
