Full Job Description

To support the Service in the recruitment, training and support of Volunteers through the coordination of consistent and effective policies and procedures.

There will be some requirements to have a flexible shift pattern to ensure that you can provide support to all volunteers. You will also have the opportunity work alongside the other volunteer's coordinators to provide joint training and support, Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. The required skills and competencies for this role are:

-Good written and verbal communication skills

-Organisational skills

-Ability to establish and sustain good working relationships with volunteers and other relevant professionals

-Computer literacy and ICT skills

-A high degree of self-motivation and an ability to work alone under pressure

Experience

-Experience of working alongside and managing volunteers and developing volunteer recruitment, training and induction programmes

-Experience of delivering group work e.g. group supervision, Skill sharing

Desirable

-Experience of providing safeguarding training to volunteers
