Full Job Description
This is a new and exciting role for the volunteer to support the clinical leadership team with a new peer-led patient council. They will support in engaging patients with providing feedback regarding their experience within the service and be a big part of developing and facilitating the patient council alongside the clinicians.
The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:
· Responding to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.
· Contacting patients about the patient council
· Supporting with scheduling talks/topics for patient council sessions
· Supporting with the logistics of organising the patient council.
· Capturing feedback from the meetings
· Printing and posting letters associated with this
· Photocopying
· Filing
· Confidential shredding
· Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager
· Ad-hoc administration duties required to support admin function
Collation of data and use of Microsoft packages

· Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager
· Ad-hoc administration duties required to support admin function

· To be punctual and reliable
· Good listening skills with a warm, friendly and professional approach.
· To adhere to the dress code for the area in which they volunteer. To aid recognition by staff, patients, service users and visitors you must always wear your ID badge.
· Be able to work as a member of a team.
