We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Volume Planner to join our Logistics Department.


With this role, the hours are: 7 am - 3 pm, Monday to Friday, weekend working around Saturday 3 hours, 7-10.30 am (1 in 3 WFH). Some Christmas working.


Purpose of Role



  • Daily reporting requirements

  • Working with the wider team on tasks related to forecasting

  • Depot goods in planning

  • Enhance processes and develop the role

  • Collating and analysing data to plan future events such as Christmas and Easter requirements


Key Accountabilities



  • Provide timely reporting to the wider department

  • Analyzing data to support forecasting of depot pick operations of up to 5 million cases per week

  • Ensure clear communication of depot forecasts

  • Accurate goods in planning, including utilisation projections

  • Liaising with depot teams and supply chain counterparts


Technical Skills



  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

  • High level of numeracy ability

  • Excellent communication skills


Knowledge / Experience



  • Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain & Logistics principals

  • Effective communicator

  • Results orientated

  • Logical and analytical approach
