As the Network Design Lead you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance and guidance by identifying customers technical and business requirements, producing sustainable IP network designs, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, supporting sales, account and project teams throughout the project lifecycle and supporting the delivery of complex IP network solutions. You will also:

• As the IP Design lead you will be a technical advisor to sales, account and project teams providing specialist technical expertise.
• Engage directly with the sales and account teams to support pre-sales technical network feasibilities and solutions
• Ensure IP network design activities are fully documented and aligned to Vodafone standards
• Own internal architectural patterns and template designs to promote design re-use where applicable
• Deliver complex network solutions combining multiple IP based products and technologies
  
  Substantial experience of network design, development and implementation- Essential
• An in-depth understanding of IP network operations and network design principles- Essential
• A comprehensive technical knowledge of IP, MPLS, encryption and network security technologies- Essential
• A good understanding of sales and project delivery processes- desirable
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate concisely and effectively- Essential
• CCNP equivalent or demonstrable aligned work experience.
