Role description
Project Support
Nepacs operates across 7 prisons in the North-East including the site visitors' centre, play area and/or tea bar. Staff and volunteers welcome dozens of visitors every day including families that may be engaging with the criminal justice system for the first time. To ensure the full delivery of our services a welcoming reception is needed at our sites so visitors' needs are met including with the provision of refreshments. As part of our prison-based sites catering workers are needed for this service to maintain stock available for visitors and to confirm cash is handled correctly according to Nepacs procedures.
We are looking for a Catering Worker at HMP Kirklevington Grange to provide refreshments and a friendly welcome to visitors, helping to create a positive first impression and welcoming environment.
An Enhanced Disclosure will be required from the Disclosure and Barring Service as well as prison clearance for the successful applicant.
