VH Invigilator

We are currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Exam Invigilators. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our learners during a crucial stage in their academic journey, helping to ensure that examinations are conducted in a fair, calm, and supportive environment. You will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of external examinations, working as part of the Exams team to ensure compliance with Awarding Body and JCQ regulations. You will help create a calm and professional environment, giving our learners the best possible opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills during assessments. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing examination venues, distributing and collecting materials, supervising candidates, and ensuring that regulations are consistently upheld. You will also complete attendance registers, maintain confidentiality, and take appropriate action should any issues arise during an examination. This position offers flexibility and variety, with hours that fit around the busy exam schedule. Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by a knowledgeable team that values accuracy, professionalism, and fairness. If you have excellent attention to detail, can remain composed under pressure, and enjoy working in a structured setting, this role will give you the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the assessment process. We are looking for a dependable and organised individual who can work calmly and accurately in a structured environment. You should have excellent attention to detail, be able to follow clear procedures, and remain composed under pressure. The ideal candidate communicates clearly and professionally with learners and colleagues, providing support and maintaining a calm atmosphere during examinations. You should be able to take initiative to address minor issues and report them appropriately, while respecting confidentiality and upholding exam regulations. No previous invigilation experience is required, as full training is provided, but you should be willing to work flexibly around the examination schedule and take pride in contributing to a fair and smooth assessment process. • Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent
• Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or other related role
