At the RSPCA, we are a team of compassionate, committed experts. Finsbury Park Animal Hospital is at the frontline of animal welfare, providing a safe haven for animals that have often come from challenging backgrounds. We don't just treat clinical symptoms; we provide evidence-based care to rehabilitate animals and prepare them for their new lives. When you join us, you aren't just a nurse — you are an advocate for animal welfare, working within a society that values integrity and kindness.
The working hours for this position are 8am-4pm and 1pm-9pm on weekdays. 8am-8pm and 9am-9pm on weekends.
Are you a passionate RVN looking to make a real difference in the lives of neglected and cruelly treated animals? Join the team at our Finsbury Park Animal Hospital, where your clinical expertise becomes a voice for the voiceless.
Please note — regarding the closure of our Finsbury Park Animal Hospital site with proposals to co-locate our team and the services provided to our Southridge Animal Centre site, near Potters Bar, in the summer of 2027.
This role can be considered on a permanent basis with the opportunity to transfer to the new site with us next year, or on a fixed-term basis at Finsbury Park until its closure. More details can be provided upon request.
Our recruitment journey - key dates for you to note:
We believe in transparency and a stress-free experience. Here is a quick look at what you can expect:
- Application: You’ll be asked a few targeted questions designed to help us understand your experience, unique skills, and future potential. This is your first chance to stand out!
- Panel Interview & Site Visit: If your application hits the mark, we’ll invite you to meet us in person. You’ll sit down with the Hiring Manager and our Head Vet for a competency-based interview and a tour of the site. We’ll also be asking some scenario-based questions on animal handling and would welcome your thoughts and discussion on the content.
If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, just let us know — we’re happy to support you.
