Our Sutton clinic is RCVS accredited as a Small Animal Emergency Service Clinic which reflects the clinics ability to handle emergency and critical care cases without an appointment and means clients can be reassured their pet is receiving the best care when they need it most.

Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
  • Critical Care - management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
  • Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

  • RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
  • Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Working pattern

Week 1: Monday and Tuesday from 19:00 to 00:00, Saturday from 16:00 to 00:00 and Sunday from 14:00 to 00:00

Week 2: Monday and Tuesday from 19:00 to 00:00

Week 3: Monday and Tuesday from 19:00 to 00:00 and Sunday from 08:30 to 18:30

Week 4: Monday from 19:00 to 00:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
