Veterinary Care Assistant - Whetstone

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team where your contribution is valued, and you'll have opportunities to develop your skills while helping to deliver exceptional standards of patient and client care. About the Role This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Our opening hours are:
• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 7:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm (1 in 2 rota)
There are no out-of-hours requirements, helping you maintain an excellent work-life balance. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by assisting with patient care, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the practice, preparing equipment and consulting rooms, supporting with inpatient care, and ensuring clients and their pets receive a warm and professional experience from the moment they arrive.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience working in a veterinary practice, ideally as a Veterinary Care Assistant
• Is passionate about animal welfare and delivering outstanding patient care
• Enjoys working in a busy first-opinion practice
• Has excellent communication and client care skills
• Works well as part of a team while also being able to use their own initiative
• Is organised, proactive and keen to learn
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming practice environment
