Job Overview

At Halfords, we are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you are an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring vehicle safety, we want to hear from you.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, your responsibilities include carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards and performing a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you will ensure each job is completed to the highest standard.

Skills and Experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)


• Valid MOT Testing Licence


• Full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points
