Full Job Description
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be part of a skilled and dedicated team maintaining and repairing the vehicles that support our armed forces and emergency services. From quad bikes to battle tanks, your work will directly contribute to national defence and public safety making this a career with real purpose and impact.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance
- Preferred: Experience with military vehicles or specialist equipment
- Background in a dealership, garage, or military vehicle maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety and precision
- Ability to conduct road tests and complete technical documentation
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, inspection, and repair
- Ability to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at Catterick, Leconfield or Newcastle. You'll work 37 hours per week: Monday-Thursday (8 hours/day) and Friday (5 hours), with opportunities for overtime. Set working times are in place. A relocation package may be available, subject to eligibility.
