Vascular Trust Grade Registrar

To provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and emergency vascular care, supporting resident medical staff and contributing to service delivery, education, and improvement in alignment with GMC and Trust standards., Develop excellent clinical care that is patient centric and evidence-based.

Contribute to team working that enables a learning working environment as well as excellent clinical outcome.

Support triaging of outpatient referrals.

Assist with managing test results and communicating with patients.

Handle clinical queries from primary care and referring teams.

Provide safe, evidence-based care to vascular surgery patients.

Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, MDTs, and the on-call rota.

Ensure high standards of documentation and safe clinical handover.

Identify clinical situations that require senior input and escalate appropriately.

Contribute to seamless perioperative care in collaboration with the wider MDT.

Provide supervision, teaching, and mentorship to FY1-CT2 doctors and medical students.

Contribute to local training, simulation sessions, and departmental educational programmes.

Contribute to and participate in audit and quality control.

Contribute to and participate in research.

To identify national strategies and policies that impact on vascular service provision and initiate and implement practice and service development improvement accordingly.
