Full Job Description
- Loading windows and doors into vans
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Planning the next day's workload
- Checking delivery notes and ensuring all goods are correctly loaded
- Occasionally making deliveries in a small van to cover holidays or urgent items
Good manual handling ability - capable of safely lifting and loading windows, doors, and other heavy materials - Strong organisational skills - able to plan the next day's workload efficiently
- Attention to detail - ensuring delivery notes match and all goods are loaded correctly
- Basic warehouse skills - moving stock, understanding stock flow, and maintaining tidy working areas
- Good communication skills - to liaise with warehouse staff, drivers, and office teams
- Time-management skills - able to prioritise tasks and meet delivery deadlines
- Driving ability - confidence to drive a small van up to 7.5 tonne when required (full UK licence if needed for the role)
- Reliability and teamwork - dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment Qualifications required Clean Driving licence must be over 25 yrs for insurance purposes
