Full Job Description
Reporting to the Brand Manager and working as part of a team of 4 Sales Executives, a Fleet/B2B Sales Executive and a Business Manager, as a Used Car Sales Executive, you will be required to sell used vehicles, accessories, finance, finance-related products and warranties to reach and exceed targets. This team is on track to do around 1000 units this year, therefore making this position very busy and exciting! You will be required to keep customers informed of delivery progress and advise customers of any delays that may occur. You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing their new car. Used Car Sales Executives must explain the warranty, service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Service Department team and demonstrate the car features and offer any other support that may be required.
To be eligible, you will ideally live in and around the Treforest region or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Treforest. To succeed in this position, you shall require strong and stable new or used car sales experience (preferably within a franchise-approved dealer environment), a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, the ability to build outstanding customer relationships, and a genuine passion to work for the company and the manufacturer. You will need to be brand-focused, capable of working independently, and have the energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential at this stage.
- Salary: £18,000 basic salary with an OTE of £45,800+ uncapped annual on-target earnings. There is a strong accelerating commission scheme on top of this, also based on overachievement.
- Hours: Monday to Saturday with a day off every other week and a half-day every other week, no Sundays are required!
