Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead a claims team responsible for handling complex US and international casualty claims, driving technical excellence and client-focused outcomes. You'll shape claims strategy, collaborate with brokers, coverholders, and partners, and push continuous improvement across the portfolio. The position sits in a London market environment, offering influence over delegation and strategy within a growing international casualty book. You'll mentor staff, manage performance, and engage stakeholders to deliver strong results. Pay / Benefits

  • Lead and develop a team of casualty claims professionals Oversee complex US and international casualty claims Provide technical guidance on coverage, liability, reserving, and litigation Build relationships with clients, brokers, coverholders, TPAs, legal partners, and underwriters Drive continuous improvement and best-practice claims handling Support portfolio performance through claims insights and stakeholder engagement Tasks Extensive experience with US and/or International Casualty claims Proven leadership and people management experience Strong technical casualty claims expertise and commercial awareness Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills Credibility in the London and Lloyd's market and understanding of delegated business Willingness to travel and attend client and market events ACII, CII or a similar professional qualification Key requirements Hybrid Working competitive base salary performance-related discretionary bonus employee benefits
