Full Job Description

To work within the Urology Multidisciplinary Team to deliver high quality person centred care to patients with benign and malignant urological conditions. Providing support to patients and families undergoing cancer diagnosis.,

  • Running independent clinics within the Urological Diagnostic and Treatment Centre including; 2ww urology clinics, surveillance clinics, male and female lower urinary tract symptoms, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hypertrophy.
  • Male and Female catheterisation
  • Being part of intra-vesical cytotoxic clinics
  • To assist in diagnostic procedures where necessary such as; flexible Cystoscopy, Local Anaesthetic Trans-Perineal Prostate Biopsies, Lithotripsy, Urodynamic Studies, Flow and Scan Tests, TWOC clinic
  • To complete staff appraisals in line with the trust policy.
  • To attend regular MDT meetings.
