Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to build advanced clinical skills while supporting people who need timely, high-quality urgent and primary care. You'll be part of an established multi-disciplinary team delivering care to patients with a wide range of urgent and undifferentiated health needs. Your work will make a direct difference to patient safety, experience and outcomes, while supporting the delivery of evidence-based care across services. This is a development post, with structured support to help you progress into a more senior role as your skills grow. What you'll do:

  • Assess, diagnose and treat patients using telephone, face to face and digital consultations
  • Manage undiagnosed and undifferentiated illness, minor injuries and acute presentations
  • Work collaboratively with partner services to provide seamless, timely care
  • Use evidence-based practice, guidelines and audit to support high standards of care
  • Act as a positive role model, supporting junior colleagues and safe clinical practice

    An experienced clinician working within their professional scope of practice
  • Confidence in clinical assessment, decision-making and referral for all age groups
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across services and professions
  • Motivation to develop advanced practice skills with structured support
  • Flexibility to work across urgent and primary care settings, Disability Confident
