UPS Field Service Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute site-based service activities relating to UPS system (Uninterruptible Power Supply) including maintenance and repair. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance. The work model for the role is: #Field Based - On Site

• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.
• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
  
  Relevant Electronic qualification with experience of power electronics.
• 2 years working as field engineer on UPS systems or similar technology.
• Experience working on high powered UPS and with large data center customers.
• Valid driving license in the UK.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Personal organization skills with a strong sense of accountability.
• Experience in all Microsoft office applications.
