About this Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed 0.8 Key Stage 2 teacher to join the wonderful team at Newbrough and Wark C of E Primary Schools in a permanent role.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of two small schools with big hearts, where children are known, valued, and encouraged to flourish. Working within our calm, caring, and supportive environments, you will join a dedicated team committed to the full development of exceptional children, academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
As part of the Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Learning Trust, we are committed to recruiting great people who share our values, have high expectations for all children, and believe in the importance of positive relationships and inclusive practice. Our schools benefit from strong teamwork, a well organised curriculum, and a genuine sense of community.
This role would be particularly suitable for an Early Career Teacher or someone at the beginning of their teaching career, looking to develop within a supportive and nurturing environment with experienced colleagues around them.
There may also be scope to extend the hours through mutual agreement.
If you are looking to join a warm and welcoming team, work with incredible children, and be part of schools where every individual is encouraged to thrive, we would be delighted to hear from you.
For more information about the role, or to arrange a visit on Monday 2 June, please contact the school office on to arrange a convenient time.
Closing date: 11.59am on Thursday 4 June
Interviews: Wednesday 17 June
