Helping children through their daily routines, including setting up activities, supporting mealtimes, and helping to keep the room clean and tidy.

Chatting warmly with parents and carers at drop-off and pick-up times.

Working closely with qualified practitioners who will guide you, support you, and show you the ropes every step of the way.

Why You Will Love Being Part of This Team:

We are dedicated to making your childcare journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible. By joining our network in Lewisham and SE18, you will benefit from:

Great Starting Pay: £12.75 per hour right from day one.

True Flexibility: Shift options designed to suit your lifestyle-perfect for parents returning to work or those balancing other personal commitments.

A Gentle Introduction: A patient, nurturing workplace that gives you the time to learn practically, without the pressure.

Future Progression: The chance to gain invaluable, hands-on experience with the potential to be supported through formal qualifications in the future if you wish!

Let's start this exciting chapter together!

We are an equal opportunity employer and recruit based on merit. To support our recruitment process, we may use AI-assisted tools for tasks such as application screening and reference checks to manage applications efficiently; however, all hiring decisions are made directly by our human team.

Have you got a little bit of nursery experience under your belt, but no formal childcare qualifications yet? Or perhaps you have worked in a nursery in the past, took a career break, and are looking for a deeply rewarding, flexible role to ease back into the workplace?

We are actively searching for caring, enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join a group of incredibly friendly nurseries across the Lewisham and SE18 areas. We know that stepping into a new setting or returning after a break can feel like a big leap. That is why we partner with nurturing environments that prioritize hands-on mentorship, patience, and a true team community.

While you do not need formal certificates to shine here, we do ask that you have a foundation of at least 3 months of experience in a nursery setting. If you have a brilliant attitude, a natural way with children, and a desire to learn, we will provide the supportive environment you need to build your confidence and thrive!
