Full Job Description
You'll be seconded into the NatWest Group for 2 years and be given access to NatWest systems and collaboration tools for the duration of the secondment. Reporting to the Regional NatWest Accelerator Director who is based in London you will work closely alongside the Brighton NatWest Hub Manager.
We are looking for someone to:
o Contribute to the ambitions of the University in developing links with local business and contributing to the University employability agenda for our students
o Identify and develop opportunities for local business and students to engage with and sign up to the Accelerator including facilitating in curriculum delivery
o Facilitate and support engagement with relevant university expertise to compliment delivery of the Accelerator programme
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
o Demonstrate vision and strategic insight
o Develop and deliver business engagement related workshops
o Have experience of managing a diverse range of internal and external relationships
o Be able to deliver difficult and complex material in a diplomatic manner
o Have experience of developing or working with budgets
This new and exciting role includes opportunities for developing project and event management skills, possible travel to Accelerators throughout the UK, engagement with the local business ecosystem and being part of an international financial organisation.
This is a fixed term secondment role for 24 months, 0.8 fte (29.6 hours per week) and the successful candidate will remain an employee of the University of Brighton. To meet the requirements of the role it is expected that you will work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week.
