Unit Manager

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, and development of a specific business unit or department. You will lead a team to deliver operational excellence, meet financial targets, and ensure high standards of quality and customer service.

• Manage daily operations of the unit to achieve business objectives and KPIs
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team to ensure productivity and engagement
• Monitor financial performance, including budgets, costs, and revenue generation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
• Develop and implement operational plans, processes, and improvements
• Address and resolve operational issues, customer concerns, and staff queries promptly
• Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support overall business goals
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and coaching for team members
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to unit activities
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery
  
  Proven experience in managing a business unit, department, or team
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency
• Experience in process improvement and change management
• Relevant qualifications depending on industry are a plus
