Full Job Description

To support undergraduate medical students in Phase 3 ( Year 5 & 6 ) The post holder will be responsible for organising, servicing and communicating with students at all levels. They will be in regular contact with senior medical staff at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS TrustHospital and the Faculty of Medicine at the School of Medicine, Imperial College London. The post holder will also be required to cover for the Undergraduate Teaching Co-ordinator (TCO) with all student enquiries, teaching sessions and the day to day running of the Undergraduate Office. They will also assist in the implementation of courses, teaching programmes, simulation and timetables as required. Key working relationships

  • Director of Clinical Studies, This role leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of Phase 3 MBBS clinical teaching for Imperial College London students within the Trust.
  • You will manage student placements, timetables, teaching programmes, and assessments, ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements and high-quality clinical education standards. Acting as the key link between the Trust, Imperial College, and clinical teams, you will support effective communication, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement in teaching delivery. The role also includes coordinating exams, managing student feedback processes, overseeing teaching databases and systems, and organising key educational activities such as inductions, Mock PACES, and BLS training. Overall, you will play a central role in ensuring a well-organised, high-quality, and student-focused clinical education programme across the Trust.
