Ultrasound Assistant

37.5 hours - 4 days fixed term 9 months and1 day Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team where our purpose is to deliver seamless, high quality, safe healthcare for all. Although the successful candidate will be employed by South Tees Foundation Trust STHFT, there may be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required. The post holder will be expected to rotate between all the sites we cover including James Cook, Friarage, Redcar, Guisborough, Tees Valley CDC and One Life Centre., Main duties will include preparing patients prior to their ultrasound scans and assisting the patients throughout their time within the department, maintaining an efficient daily worklist through dealing with patient queries, appointments and assisting the Sonographers and Radiologists. The work will involve assisting with interventional lists.
