Full Job Description

  • Manage the operational relationship between Travel Management Company (TMC) and strategic partners to ensure all required services are delivered in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Support and where appropriate manage escalations both internally and with suppliers.
  • Manage the day-to-day travel program operations & escalations
  • + Rail + Air + Hotels + Ground Transportation + Serviced Apartments
  • Conduct regular reviews of OBT (Online Booking Tool) and Program Messenger to identify improvement opportunities designed to exceed customer expectation.
  • Identify and suggest remedial action where SLA and KPIs are not met.
  • Actively monitor CSAT and seek further feedback/assist customer with difficulties experienced. Regularly present key areas for development and improvement.
  • Manage suitable comms when needed using the appropriate channel to update and advise key bookers and travellers regarding incidents, issues and service updates.
  • Proactively and reactively engage with key users, review CSAT responses, update knowledge articles and develop ongoing two-way feedback mechanism.
  • When required develop and deliver training webinars, drop-in sessions for new starters, occasional users and others.
  • First level support for queries from stakeholders across the firm.
  • Provide initial analysis and support preparing reports & updates on travel spend, compliance, vendor performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Display strong communication and influencing skills
  • Be a pro-active and problem-solving thinker with strong business acumen

    Excellent planning and organisation skills and a strategic mind-set
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be able to collaborate across teams and functions
  • Demonstrate an interest in continuous improvement, must be able to identify problems and articulate solutions
  • Strong operational and travel management experience, preferably in a corporate travel management role
  • Working with the performance team, ensuring the output and key deliverables from the TMC are met. Strong focus on user experience and sustainability.
  • Candidate must have experience of managing or supporting a corporate travel program
  • Have a strong interest in travel and sustainability
  • Ability to challenge processes and automate as required
  • Have a good understanding of the different TMC operating models
  • Candidate should know what a travel eco system is, automation, user experience is very important
  • Ability to use SLAs, KPIs and reporting to enhance and continually improve the travel program and user experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
