UK Transport Planner

Pay Rate: £29,350 Grade: N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Rotating 0700 - 1500 and 1300 - 2100. Location: Rugby, CV23 Think you know DHL? Think again! We're now looking for a Transport Planner to be responsible for the effective planning and monitoring of allocated orders. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• To ensure strong and effective relationships are maintained with both customer and hauliers.
• Optimise routes to ensure maximum efficiency in terms of cost, transit time, and resource utilisation, while maintaining service quality.
• Produce and maintain daily operational reports, ensuring all customer bookings are accurately planned and communicated within agreed deadlines.
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining KPI SLA agreements.
• Management of subcontractor & partner relationship to drive improved performance and communication.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
• Have experience in a transport planning role.
• Paragon system experience is desirable but not essential.
• Computer literacy.
• Customer relationship/service experience.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
