UK Finance Manager

Reporting to the VP Finance UK, you will lead the finance function for Avia Technique's UK operations, providing financial leadership, commercial insight and strategic support to operational management. This is far more than a traditional finance role. You will act as a trusted business partner to site leadership, helping drive profitability, improve operational performance and support key business decisions that enable sustainable growth.,

• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
• Deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and profitability.
• Provide commercial analysis on sales, margins, pricing, customer performance and operational metrics.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, VAT returns and regulatory compliance.
• Support investment decisions, business cases and resource planning activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR and Shared Service teams to achieve business objectives.

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (finalists will also be considered).
• 4-5 years' experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior finance position.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis.
• Experience working with integrated ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with operational teams and senior leaders.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results focused.
• Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
