Full Job Description
- UAT Strategy & Planning
- Define and own the UAT strategy, approach, and detailed test plans.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
- Establish UAT entry/exit criteria and ensure alignment with project milestones. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with global business units to ensure test coverage across regions and products.
- Facilitate UAT readiness reviews and sign-off processes. Test Execution & Defect Management
- Oversee test execution, ensuring traceability to business requirements.
- Manage defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Monitor test progress, provide regular status updates, and escalate risks/issues as needed. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of UAT testers and business SMEs.
- Coordinate training and onboarding for UAT participants. Reporting & Governance
- Produce UAT dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal QA standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit and post-implementation review activities
Proven experience as a UAT Manager on large-scale, global insurance or financial services programmes. - Strong understanding of policy administration systems, underwriting, claims, and billing processes.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and IT.
- Proficiency with test management tools (eg, JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to manage testing across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
