Full Job Description

Overall purpose of role is to support the Bristow UAS Program with the delivery of engineering services for the UAS aircraft. Key Tasks:

  • Work under the direction of the nominated Lead UAS Engineer.
  • Conduct daily scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of the S-100 and its supporting systems and sensors, including ground handling and refuelling.
  • For aircraft on scheduled maintenance, ensuring that all work called up as part of the maintenance work pack and all mandatory requirements have been carried out to the highest standards, prior to release of the aircraft for flight.
  • Undertake supplementary duties as directed by Lead Engineer, such as Control and maintenance of special tools and test equipment, including calibration.
  • Take a proactive active role in the SMS system, reporting and helping with investigations when required.
  • Consistent delivery of work to highest standards, even when under pressure.
  • Housekeeping: ensure the hangar and working areas are always kept clean and tidy.

    Previous Civ/Mil Aviation engineering experience (preferred)
  • Detailed knowledge/understanding of regulations nationally with the ability to develop and communicate proposed amendments (Desirable)
  • FRTOL (Desirable)
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems (Desirable)
  • To be able to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard
  • Driving Licence / Forklift experience (preferred), HND Engineering / Advanced modern apprenticeship/ Skilled Engineer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, teams.
  • Proven knowledge and hand skills, with mechanical / electrical equipment.
