• The ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship and in-depth knowledge of your specialist instrument
• The ability and passion to enthuse, engage and motivate children and young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds
• Experience of, and enthusiasm for, teaching from beginner level
• The ability to plan and deliver high-quality, enjoyable lessons that ensure every student's musical skills and knowledge progress each term
• The ability to maintain high professional standards at all times, including excellent timekeeping, accurate timesheet and register administration, and clear, timely communication with schools, parents, students and the music service
