Tutor - Home 1:1

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Tutor to deliver both individual and small group tuition. This role combines personalised in-home teaching with structured group sessions at our premises, offering variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across different learning environments.,

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in students' homes, tailored to individual learning needs, particularly for SEND learners
• Plan and deliver engaging group sessions, including 11+ preparation and science/maths based classes
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of abilities, learning styles, and needs
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers and the company
• Create and maintain lesson plans and resources
• Build positive, professional relationships with students and families
• Maintain safeguarding standards and follow company policies at all times
  
  Teaching qualification with at least 2 years work experience
• Experience working with children with SEN
• Strong subject knowledge (primary, 11+, and/or science/maths preferred)
• Ability to differentiate teaching effectively
• Confident delivering both 1:1 and small group sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to home visits)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
