0-5 hours / month or 1-3 hours / week Attend monthly board meetings, annual AGM and various fundraising events, Successful candidates will need to show leadership and teamwork; to work effectively together with the ability to foster credibility through both personality and experience. Knowledge and understanding of good governance and some financial acumen. Good stakeholder management skills with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). We need trustees who can show commitment to the organisation with a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to their duties as a Trustee and adhere to the Trustee Code of Conduct. Experience of working within a charitable organisation or of fundraising and attracting sponsorship is also of interest. Previous Secretary function from within another charity is desirable but not essentialWhat difference will you make? The Secretary Trustee will be responsible for organising our board meetings with diary management, collating documentation with the CEO and preparing the minutes of the board meetings that we hold on a monthly basis.
