Become a champion for those unable to live with their birth parents – become a trusteeWe are looking for two exceptional people to join Adoption UK’s Board of Trustees.As a Trustee, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your unique skills and experience to lead our welcoming and dedicated Board. You will be expected to:Oversee the implementation of Adoption UK’s strategySupport the senior leadership team, adding value and expert adviceFacilitate change that promotes the care and welfare of those unable to live with their birth parents, and their familiesEnsure the charity remains true to its purpose and adheres to its regulatory responsibilitiesAs a UK wide charity, we aim to have representation on our Board from all constituent nations, and across a variety of backgrounds and lived experience. At this time, we are looking to appoint someone from Scotland and are looking for other trustees with financial or charity management expertise. Professional or lived experience of the adoption or social care sector is desirable, but not essential., None specified
