• As a volunteer trustee, you will:
• Attend five board meetings each year with additional committee meetings.
• Help shape our long-term strategy and monitor progress.
• Manage resources responsibly, and ensure the charity is well run and sustainable.
• Act as an ambassador, championing our work in your networks.
  
  We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in business development and commissioning, or with a fundraising background, particularly in securing support from trusts and foundations or through corporate partnerships. Or people with lived experience or with specialisms in education and/or finance
• Ability to bring strategic financial insight, independent challenge and sound judgement to oversee resources effectively, manage risk and ensure the charity remains resilient.
• Commitment to our mission and values.
• Independent judgment and willingness to ask thoughtful questions.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliability, integrity and good communication skills., We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in business development and commissioning, or with a fundraising background, particularly in securing support from trusts and foundations or through corporate partnerships.
  
  We would like to expand our Board of Trustees and it is an exciting time to join us as we plan for a new strategic plan working alongside our newly-formed Trust Leadership Team. We want trustees who can help us grow, bring fresh ideas, and ensure we continue to make a lasting difference. Whether you bring professional expertise or lived experience, your perspective will strengthen our board.
