Founded in 2016, IAT is based in Buckinghamshire and comprises of one primary school - Ashmead Combined School, and five secondary schools - Princes Risborough School, Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School, Sir William Ramsay School, The Kingsbrook School and The Mandeville School. The Trust employs over 700 staff and supports 7800 pupils across the six schools, including a nursery and three 6th form provisions. Governance Structure
IAT has a 70+ strong governance team across six Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and the Trust Board. The LGBs focus on Standards, SEND, Stakeholder Engagement and Safeguarding (4Ss) for their schools and report after each half termly meeting to the Trust Board.

Working groups are set up on a temporary basis if a particular short-term focus is required. With a growing turnover, IAT plans to separate Finance & Audit into two committees in 2026-27, to enable appropriate focus and compliance: Audit & Risk and Finance & Operations - both will meet termly.
