Trust SENDCo

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that children and young people with SEND receive high-quality support and achieve strong outcomes. Initially, the role will be deployed to support leadership capacity at Lyndhurst Primary School, before taking on a wider Trust remit.

Working closely with headteachers, senior leaders and SENDCos, you will:

· Provide expert leadership and strategic direction for SEND.

· Support schools in developing inclusive and effective practice.

· Lead and quality-assure statutory SEND processes.

· Coach and develop SEND leaders across the Trust.

· Contribute to school improvement and inspection readiness.

· Ensure pupils with SEND receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

· Is a qualified teacher and qualified SENDCo.

· Has a strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.

· Can lead strategically whilst remaining grounded in practice.

· Has excellent communication and influencing skills.

· Can build strong relationships with school leaders, families and external agencies.

· Is passionate about inclusion and achieving the best outcomes for every child.
