Trust Registrar in Rheumatology / GIM

The postholder will work as a member of the Rheumatology team with F1 trainees, SHOs, ST registrars and the consultant staff to ensure high quality care of rheumatology and medical patients. The rheumatology team is responsible for care of patients on Jonson Ward, DRU ward and outlying patients on Gray ward. The rheumatology team provide rheumatological opinions and urgent care to the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit., Ward Duties The postholder will work as a member of the Rheumatology team with F1 trainees, SHOs, ST registrars and the consultant staff to ensure high quality care of rheumatology and medical patients. The rheumatology team is responsible for care of patients on Jonson Ward, DRU ward and outlying patients on Gray ward. The rheumatology team provide rheumatological opinions and urgent care to the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit. Outpatient Duties the post holder will contribute to rheumatology clinics in a predominantly supernumerary manner. Rheumatology general and sub-specialty clinics take place in Northwick Park, including early arthritis, connective tissue disease, metabolic bone disease, injection clinics, and ankylosing spondylitis clinic.
