Trust Doctor ST3+ in Medicine

These posts are for a Trust Doctor to support the Medical Same Day Emergency Care Units for a Fixed Term contract. This is a full-time post and the post holder. The rota pattern is a mix of long days where the rota provides cover for a 7 day service., There are weekly Medical Grand round teaching including journal club and Core medical teaching sessions in the Education Centre that covers a wide range of topics. There is separate training for non-technical skills such as handover and communication skills. CHFT has a well-equipped Clinical Skills Training Room with simulation mannequins for procedures such as chest drain insertion and central venous cannulation.
