Full Job Description

This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain a breadth of clinical experience in managing complex infection and also general medicine, working in the varied and interesting ID ward at Whipps Cross Hospital. The post also involves evening and weekend work on the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) out-of-hours rota, with the opportunity to gain experience across the breadth of Acute Medicine.

Participation in quality improvement is an expectation of the role, and there is opportunity to participate in teaching and research within the multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidates will have full GMC registration with licence to practice and will have completed Foundation Year 1 (or equivalent).

Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group, is looking for a motivated Trust Grade Foundation Year 2 doctor (or equivalent level) in Infectious Diseases (ID) & Acute Medicine on a 1-year fixed term contract, with option to extend.
