Applications are invited for the post of ST3+ in one of our General Surgery firms. The post is for 6 months covering a trainee gap. The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a Registrar to one of the consultants within the General Surgery Unit and will be responsible for both inpatient elective and emergency work as well as supporting the surgical team whilst on call. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a Registrar to one of the consultants within the General Surgery Unit and will be responsible for both inpatient elective and emergency work. This will involve running outpatient clinics and assist in elective theatre. The post is not approved for basic or higher surgical training but will provide ample training opportunities and will suit a trainee committed to a Surgical career or seeking additional experience. Previous NHS experience is essential for this role.   • MRCS/FRCS or equivalent
  • GMC Registration with a license to practise
