Full Job Description
As a Trim & Fit Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the department-ensuring workflows run smoothly, targets are met, and the highest quality standards are maintained. You'll work closely with Production and other teams to coordinate schedules, support your team's development, and drive continuous improvement across the department.
- Plan and manage the Trim & Fit schedule in collaboration with Production
- Ensure the team is working on the right components at the right time to meet delivery targets
- Lead and maintain adherence to company procedures and standards (SPS)
- Supervise both Trim & Fit and demould teams to ensure efficiency and quality
- Support training and development, helping to upskill team members
- Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance across the department
- Manage attendance, performance, and conduct in partnership with HR
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Eligibility to work in the UK, no sponsorship will be offered - Able to commute to work using own vehicle (rural site)
- An experienced Composite Trim & Fitter with a strong eye for detail and quality
- A confident and authoritative leader who can motivate and develop a team
- Target-driven with the ability to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow
- A proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in composite trim & fitting to a high standard
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role (or ready to step up)
- Knowledge of quality improvement techniques and lean processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Experience working to tight deadlines in a manufacturing environment
